Dominica Passport Renewal From Abroad: What to Prepare Before You Apply

If your Dominica passport is nearing expiry and you live overseas, start by checking your documents before making travel plans. Our passport renewal assistance is for Dominica citizenship by investment (CBI) citizens and includes application preparation, submission coordination, follow-up and courier return.

Prepare these items for review

  • Your current Dominica passport, including the original when required for submission.
  • A completed and signed passport application.
  • Your birth certificate; if it is in another language, ask us about the translation and notarization requirements.
  • A copy of your Certificate of Naturalization.
  • Two passport-size photographs that meet the current requirements.
  • Your contact details and the address for returning the completed passport.

The Passport Office may request additional documents. If your name or personal details have changed, tell us before you submit the application so we can review the supporting records.

Plan for processing and shipping

Government processing times can change. Overseas applicants must also allow time to courier original documents to Dominica and return the new passport. We will provide a current estimate and confirm service, government and courier costs after reviewing your case. Avoid booking time-sensitive travel on an unconfirmed completion date.

Our role

We review the documents, help prepare and submit the renewal request, liaise with the Passport Office and coordinate delivery. The Government of Dominica alone issues passports and controls its approval process.

Visit our passport renewal service page to begin. Send us your country of residence, passport expiry date and a copy of the bio page for an initial review.
